Santa had the esteemed pleasure of attending The Caribbean Christmas Bingo event to support The Feral Companion on Saturday, July 12th. The Feral Companion is a rescue organization founded by Lindsay Harmon that specializes in rescuing and rehabilitating feral, shy, and special needs dogs from across the US. This rescue also holds a dear place in Santa’s heart since he adopted his own special needs dog from them, his dog Dash.
The event had a Caribbean/Tropical theme and everyone, including Santa, came dressed in their best island attire. Upon entrance everyone recieved their bingo cards, dabber, and a lei from Santa. Additional bingo cards were available for purchase as well. Christmas music was played throughout the event and Christmas lights decorated the bingo hall. There were 12 total rounds with varying rules. Some rounds were traditional bingo, while others, guests had to create shapes such as Christmas Trees, Reindeer, or Falling Snow with their Bingo cards. Between some rounds scratch off tickets were sold for special prizes. In keeping with the Christmas theme, all prizes were gift wrapped and were delivered by Santa. The winners then had to open the gift in front of everyone and there was a few options for exchanges if they didn't care for their prize. A 50/50 raffle was also done during the 11th round.
This event was so much fun to attend and I hope it becomes a tradition that Santa can be a part of! I strongly recommend everyone donate in anyway they can to this phenomenal rescue. Special needs dogs often need a great deal of care in veterinary treatment, medications, and time spent with them. Their PayPal is @theferalcompanion and Venmo is @feralcompanion
Thank you for anything you donate!
Santacerely,
Santa Matt 🎅
